subcontractors...The "BULL"
First of all, this is, er...was, the bull.

The
bull did not like subcontractors...or at least he
snorted and bleeted and stomped a
hoof quite effectively when they
arrived. The photo on the right is very
effective bleeting!
Patrick, determined not to live next door to something
to fear, decided to meet the bull and pet the bull...successfully.
What a
pussy cat! (Well, NOT really!) By the way, we learned that this
bull, at least, liked chewing gum!!
Alas...the bull is now dead. He got out of his pastures, attacked someone, and had to be shot.
We will miss him...well maybe not!

Secondly,
this
is gravel.
It constitutes the makings of our money pit...the garage
floor! We had to reverse the house plan or would have had a 2nd-story
garage (not acceptable obviously). We are now the proud owners of a very
expensive gravel/cement slab for our reversed-plan garage which, though
wonderful now, required about 4 feet of fill-in material...we own 104 tons of
gravel right here!

More to come from...
